GC for spouse while on GC myself

Hello,

My question is that I would like to apply for GC for my wife. I received my GC this year. My wife and I have been married for over 10 years. She had her GC processing going on with her employer and we decided not to apply together. However now it seems like a bad idea because her GC process was in EB3 and it is taking a lifetime. My question is that since we have been married from even before I applied for my GC will she get her GC pretty fast if I apply for her now? I have heard this is the case but I want to confirm it and also if someone can tell me approximately how long it would take for her to get her GC via me then I would really appreciate it.

i got gc in 2005 and because of studies i was in my native country now m getting married and I am still in my native country and would be coming in US in jan2012. so can it possible that i can file for gc for my spouse? and how much time will this procedure take?

You should have started your own thread for this. However, you might have more serious concerns UNLESS you obtained a series of re-entry permits to maintain your greencard status. Please start your own thread and provide greater details about your situation.

Could she have been included as a dependent in your case in the first place? What was the basis for your greencard? Did you adjust (I-485) or Consular Process? Provide more details please.
