GC for parents

Hello,

My I-485 is stuck in Namecheck for last 14 - 15 months. My question is: Can my wife (US citizen) sponsor GC for her in-laws or do I have to wait for my GC, then my citizenship before I can file for my parents GC?

Your wife cannot sponsor your parents. You have to wait until you become a citizen.
