GC for parents and siblings.

Hello,
I'm a US Citizen and applied for GC for my family (parents and sister). My parents paperwork has already gone through NVC and they (my parents) have an interview coming in May. The priority date for my sister's case on the other hand is somewhere around 2020.
My sister is 18 years old and I've heard that until she becomes 21, her case could be handled at the same time as my parents? Is that true? If so, could someone point me where to find more information on this and how to make it happen?

The second question I have is regarding GC's for my parents in general. Keeping my fingers crossed and assuming that everything goes well during the interview and my petition for them gets accepted. What are the next steps for them? Do they have a specific period to come to US?
Also, if there is place where I can read about this stuff that is upto date, I'd really appreciate the links.
Thank you.

It's not true.

Do they have a specific period to come to US?

An immigrant visa is good for six months. If your parents feel it will take longer to come to the US, they should start that process in motion now.

Thank you.
One follow up question and another one regarding different issue.

So, once they get their GC's, can they apply for my sister and speed up the process?

The second question is regarding the letter my parents have received from NVC with interview date and list of all the documents that have been submitted and their respective status.
Whats little unclear to me is the status O & Y.
The legend says:
O = The original document has been received and accepted as meeting post requirements.
Y = The required document has been received and accepted.

How do I interpret O?
Is it that there were additional requirements outlined and they are satisfied and no other docs are needed or post requirements were satisfied, but one should prepare some more documentation? Or maybe even something else?

I did some searches online and found multiple answers, so I guess there is no consensus on this....
Can anyone help?
Thanks

After they get their GCs, they can apply for her, but she will have a 4-5 year wait. More if she ages out of the F2A category or is from an oversubscribed country.

Hows the aging treated. 4-5 years thats a pretty big window span, so is it looked at during the initial application or at the priority date?
