GC for mom

Hi,

I will be receiving my citizenship soon (through my husband) and I would like to apply for GC for my mom in India. She is old and alone and I would like to do as much in paperwork as I can from here. Is there a link/resource that I can look up to get a list of all that I or she will need?

How long does it take (I live in DC metro area) and can she visit with me while her GC is being processed?
