Hi,

I have applied for my spouse's 485 six months after mine (follow to join).

Assuming that my spouse's application will be approved six months after mine, what will be the impact on her GC if I have to change my job after GC.

Her case's approval

is totally depending on you. If your change of jobs happens after 180-day of filing I485, your case can't be withdrawn by your sponsor if there is any. You're in a safe zone.

I am not talking about AC21 here.

I am asking about changing job after the GC is stamped for me but my spouse's 485 is still pending.

If BCIS comes to know of the fact that I no longer work for the company that sponsored my GC, What is the impact either on my GC or my spouse's 485 application.

I guess your wife stick this question to your head based on your persistence. :)

I don't know for sure. But your wife's case is of a derivative nature. Your approval means a nod to hers which is based on your marriage,not your job.

Relax. Extort her for some nice dishes.
