if GC holder mother files for unmarried daughter of age abv 21.

what would happen to the application if daughter gets married in few months.

Will the case be invalidated ?

Will it go in better category ?

Mother has to be in USA while filling the petition ?

Thanks

Yes, the case will be invalidated. If you become a citizen then the case will still be open but she will be in 3rd preference so the wait will be longer.

GC holder cannot apply for Married Son or Daughter.

----Child is not married in this case but planning to get married in few months.

I don't fully understand if mother has to file in the US? The sponsor should mantain residence in the US and should file the petition to the USCIS in the US is my understanding.

--- Mother got green card recently and has taken it by visiting USA but going to india after filling re-entry permit. Can she file the petition for daughter's green card while staying in india for the extension period ?

During her pending application she should stay unmarried until she got her green card.

The sponsor/parent should file to the USCIS. Is my understanding that you file inside the US, plus it suppose that the petitioner/sponsor should mantain residence in the US. But another person who has been in that same situation can answer you that question.

good luck,
