GC filing questions regarding Birth certificate & I 864

Hi Guys,

I married a US citizen, and I am about to file my forms in couple of days. I have couple of questions.

Q#1. My birth certificate does'nt spell mine and my parents last name, it just give last name initials,
ex L.FIRST NAME
can I still use this birth certificate or do I have to get another one which has last name spelled in it?

Q#2, My wife haven't file her 2008 tax yet, can she just use her 2008 W2 and recent pay stubs for I864(Affidavit of support) or does she have to file her 2008 tax before filing my I864.

It is already April. Just wait for her to file taxes and then submit your papers.
