GC File with TN

Hello,
I am working in US on TN, I would like to start my GC process,please can anybody help me how can I start.
Can I start my self or employer need to start this process. If my current employer won't accept to process the GC then what I have to do can I go to immigration Attorney start the GC process Please help me on this I have no idea what I have to do
 
The only way you can get GC is by having an employer sponsor you. So, without this, you can't even start.
