Finally I got the 485 approval, after 5.9 years of wait time. Both me and my wife got the approval at same time. Please see my signature for details.

Congratulations!!!

Did you get fingerprint notice again? Looks like your last finger print was in July 2006 and I was told that these will be valid only for 18 months.

That was my only fingerprint (JUL 2006) for my 485 case. Even I did expect another fingerprint notice, but I did not receive.
 
Mine approved too

congrats CAPDJUL2002 for your approval. Mine and my family also got approved today after almost 6 years of waiting. wow! what a relief.

Old Old case..still pending

Mine is really old in comparision with approvals we are seeing now. Please suggest me if I should go for a WOM now or should wait for another 2 months.

EB 2 substitute labor PD Feb 2001 India
I-140/I-485 concurrent filing RD June 2005 California
Transferred to Nebraska in 2006 . Pending since then.
2 FPs
Last LUD on 485 is 07/2007
Was stuck in namecheck for 28 months- cleared in Nov 2007
then they ran out of Visa
Now Everything is current but they are working on cases(as per Yates memo) where NC is pending..so I stil have problem...because NC is cleared now.

I think there is some hidden illogical thing at NEbraska center in considering the priority date (I think they have reset some dates internally based on either the case is transferred to them from California or something else)..otherwise I would have got at least an RFE....presently looks like my case file is just getting consumed by termites in some cold dark scary record room.
