I got my GC approved sooner than I thought. I am getting married in couple of months in India. How do I bring my wife to US. Is there any way apart from say bringing thru new H1. Can the gurus here advice me on this tricky issue.

Thanks,
GCdreams

You have only one option - follow-to-join consular processing. As you are approved already, don't waste time and start CP asap (immediately after getting married) because it takes time - long time.

As a side note:
If she reveals her relationship with you when applying for her H1 visa, it could be difficult to get a H1 for her.

H-1 could be the way

H-1 is a dual intent visa (allows for immigration intent). So as long as she is qualified on her own for the H-1, I don't think there will be a problem. My 0.02

To apply for Follow to join marriage should take place before the approval I-485. So He cannot use that option. She falls into family category now which is still some where in 2000
Best option is to bring here on H1. Since it is dual intent no problem even if they know about his status.

Correct. FTP dos not apply here (I misinterpreted). Sorry for that.
I am not sure about dual intent. I recommand to discuss with a good lawyer. Though H1 is dual intent but it's still a non-immigrant visa and so it's upto the consulate people how they want to look at this case. But I I believe it does not harm to go for H1.

This is incorrect. There is a section of the INA that expressly forbids the consulates from denying an H1 visa based on immigrant intent.

First apply for H1 and bring her to US. After 1 or 2 months you can marry her. So that she need not tell anything about you while applying for H1 visa.

If it is after marriage the chances of rejecting visa is high, because she will be a potential immigrant.

Again, the INA explicitly forbids consular officers and POEs from denying entry to H or L visa holders on the basis of immigrant intent.
