GC APPROVED NEED HELP.... canada trip

Hi All,

Need advise from gurus, please.

GC approved 7/12, am planning to travel ( drive to canada) do I need a visa or will my GC suffice, can anyone provide a telephone number that i can call and find out

No visa for Canada for GC holders!

Looks like Canada is going to be a popular tourist destination. We're planning a trip to Quebec too :D

MA_Labor : not sure if you mean Quebec state in general or Quebec city in particular. If the latter, be sure to spend some time in Montreal if you haven't been there before. Beautiful city, great food, and it's a fun place in summer when there's a lot of stuff happening around downtown Montreal, near the old pier.

Thanks for the tip Marooned42. I've been to Montreal and Quebec City before in 2001. Somehow Montreal did not impress me so much but we had a really great time in Quebec city, so this time we're going to spend a little more time there. Also were planning to stay in Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, which looked awesome from outside.

My wife has been planning trips galore since Wednesday. She's already booked a week in September for Venice and Rome. Unfortunately we'll need a schengen visa for that.

Does the passport have to have a minimum 6 month validity? Or is less than 6 mths ok?????

Thats good information.
I thought that we still need visa for Canada as for other European destinations.

I will definitely take the trip to Canada before the summer ends.
