My case was transferred to SJ and I am waiting anxiously for the interview to be scheduled.
Based on your experience, would you recommend having a lawyer in the interview process.
I have to fly my lawyer from LA for being there and she also charges a ton of money. I was wondering if it would be worth having my lawyer there or if I could do this by myself.
I am the only applicant (no derivatives)

depends on your case and why it got transfered... but it will be better to have one of them. May be you can aske some refereral from your attorney who is local.
Een in my case I was not represented by the attorney who deals with my paper instead( he is based in SFO) he himself asked another attorney in San Jose to acompany me.
But certainly I will recommned to have one.
