GC application &H1B Visa validation

My 1-130,485 are pending.My H1 B Visa is expiring in Jan2004 and intending to send for St.Louis.My new H1B approval is up to May 2006.
In form DS 156,there are columns asking for
1)Field 36-Has any body ever applied for immigratnt visa.
(I guess we need to answer yes and give details.Then
2)Field 26- How long do you intend to stay in US.
(Is it as per New H1 B approval ,ie. may 2006?)
3)if we answer above ,are we inviting any problems from DOS,
as H1B intention is Non.immigrant nature.
Any thoughts and beleive some might have been in the same situation and applied/got for Revalidation at SL.
Can you please inform the opinions and experiences.
waiting for your help in this.
 
H1-B is dual intent

Hi - H1-B is dual intent - do not worry. be honest and file for revalidation. I just got my H1-B approval and both 140, 485 are pending...

No guesses here, YOU HAVE to answer yes! All your data is already in the computers. If you try to mess with they system, you will be rejected for AOS!

Put in N.A (not applicable) - pending AOS

3)if we answer above ,are we inviting any problems from DOS,
as H1B intention is Non.immigrant nature.

H1B is a dual purpose visa, there are no problems with applying for AOS while working on H1.
