GC advice.

I need advice/suggestion.

I got laid off from Oracle during 2001. I got my H1 done thru another employer. There is gap for 3 months in between. Will this be a problem
for my GC ?

Strictly speaking though you were out of status for some period, USCIS as of today has been tolerant as long as it is not over 180 days.

But as you might have already heard USCIS have been lately strict with F1 applicants w.r.t. being out of status even for a single day...

So in short, you should be OK unless USCIS get tougher by the time it is your turn for adjustment of status.
