Gap in employment

Hi,

Is it alright to have a week's gap in employment while using AC-21 ? I'm currently working for Company A on H1-B. I will be leaving this company on 12/23/04 and will be joining Company B on 01/03/05 using EAD.

Will I be out of status for that 10 days in the middle ?

Since you have a pending I-485, you will not be out of status. Good luck with your new opportunity.

Now, if I want to continue with the H1-B transfer with Company B (Instead of using EAD), Can I still have this gap ?
