Gap between two subsequent visits on Visitor Visa

I did read some threads on this issue, but this case is a little different.

My parents visited U.S. on June 4th, 2008 and stayed till December 1st, 2008. In between, they went to the Bahamas for 15 days from November 3rd to the 18th, and re-entered U.S. on a new I-94, and they stayed in the U.S., on the new I-94 for only 15 days after that. Now we want to call my mother on May 1st, 2009 to stay for 3 months only and she'll visit again in November 2009 to stay for another 3 months. Do you anticipate any problems, if so , what could they possible be, or do you suggest we postpone the trip, or just make the trip as planned?

Your inputs/ experiences will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

A genuine visitor should never spend more than 6 months in the US during any rolling 12 month window.

Gap between two visits on a B1 visa

Hi I travelled to Chicago, IL from 6th Feburary, 2009 to 2nd May 2009.
Due to some new circumstances, I am being asked to come back to US from Mid july till September end 2009. Basically I will only have a gap of two months between my two US visits of 3 months each on B1 visa.

Further I have recieved my H1-B application approval already and I am planning to work in US after 1st October, 2009.

Is it a good idea for me to travel on B1 in july in context of above circumstances. Can this be an issue on port of entry.

Firstly you should have started your own thread instead of hijacking someone else's.
Secondly, it is possible that you may have a tough time at the POE. No one can speculate how your entry attempt will go.
