Gap between first EAD and Second EAD.

Hi Guys,

The first EAD expired 4 days before 2nd EAD approved. that means the person was out of status for about 4 to 5 days.

Will it have any negative impact on 485 approval ?

No it doesn't. Since an I-485 was filed, the person never was out of status. They may have worked illegally for a few days. There may be an issue here if USCIS finds out (unlikely). I don't know if 245k covers this, or merely illegal employment before the adjustment was filed.

Once in 485..you are never out of status..
Only thing is that u cant be working those intermediate days..!!

U just can't work. See if it possible to make those 4 days as vacation and get paid for that time at some other time or something.
