G325A Biographic information

Just wondering about the processing of G325A. If a person entered US (not necessarily the first time????) less than 1 year before the filing of G325A (along with I485), then it looks like they request information from the visa issuing consulate. Does it mean, the approval will take longer than usual (I went on vacation and just got back. My H1 was issued last Nov 2004).

Any insight in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

----- they request or contact/send the copy of G325A to consulate ONLY if your latest VISA STAMP was issued less than 1 year, if more than 1 year then they dont ask info from consulate becase consulate dont keep the visa application forms after 1 year of Visa stamp??? what is your concern? did you fill up something wrong info on application when got the Visa stamp??

My concern is the delay (extent??) in processing. If they need to send it to the consulate and then get it back. I am assuming that it is going to take longer (how long???).
