G325 clearance

It varies from country to country. I know in case of India it is around 45 days.
It is like Police clearance.
G 325 clearance shopuld come in 60 days. The procedure is that the consulate in your home country will receive your G325.If no derogatory info is available the consulate will not do anything and will not communicate with INS. No response will be sent to INS.If INS does not receive any adverse comment in 60 days it is assumed that there is no problemns and the INS can adjudicate the petition from their side. If any derogatory info is found at consulate level than they will send info to INS to hold your case and INS will hold your case till they receive all info.
