G325-A should have 4 colors!

I just spoke to my lawyer on the phone, because I sent her my filled biographic form for her to check if I filled it out correctly.
She says 325-A should be printed on plain colored paper that you can get in staples...
She says it is important to them because they want to know right away where to put which copy (just how it is on the carbon layered form)

Page 2 - green
Page 3 - pink
Page 4 - light blue

Just wanted to share this with you guys.

I disagree. Nowhere on USCIS's website it says it should be printed on a specialized color paper. True that they are color coded but with the invention of website & Online forms, using color copies dont apply anymore.

Everything that USCIS did before internet was on mostly on color-coded forms. Its ok to use white paper. Lawyers say a lot of things but sometimes they dont make sense.

It is ok to print 4 copies and fill all of them on white paper.

Want,

You seem to have so much time. I hope I could have your job in USPS.

A quiet week, no approvals?

Windywd, I travel twice a month to all over the country..so this job drains me with the travelling...I wish I had your job :P

Karina,

I recently submitted those forms for another application and never used colored paper. The application was accepted - which indicates that everything was in order.

You are stressed out as it is - having waited all these years .... don't let a color-loving attorney ruin your day with minor (and useless) information.

Good luck with your case.

Some lawyers tell people useless information to make themselves important in filling a routine application. She is telling you that "you should apply through me" and you are doing it wrong. So forget this kind of stupid comment from a lawyer.

Did you check your attorney's IQ? On the second thought she might be right. In the matter of fact, I think you should use:

Page 1 - green
Page 2 - white
Page 3 - light blue
Page 4 - pink

Here is the explanation:

1. Green must be first page the I/Os see. Since I/O will be surprised and probably mad thinking somebody is making fun of him/her with all this color BS, he/she will immediately calm down. It is scientifically proven that green color decrease the anxiety.

2. So now I/O is little upset but not much, so he/she takes white page and do whatever needs to be done with that copy.

3. Then I/O sees 'light blue' and figures this must be a special sign. He/she gets upset again...

4. ... when he/she now sees pink copy! In corporate (and government) world 'pink slip' means you are fired! So I/O is now sure that he/she got the message correctly and simply reject your application.

The decission goes back to your attorney, and now she starts fighting for the client ie YOU. You spend thousands of dollars in attorney and court costs and finally you are approved. You salute your attorney for her hard work and everybody is happy.

After all your attorney's IQ may not be only 90 ha?

Hah! This was a good one! I'm LOL.
Yeah, you are right, I'll probably send the white copies and won't listen to the BS. I just wanted to tell this to you guys, because with USCIS you never know....
But on a second thought, you are right: if you download a non-fillable .pdf file you are not expected to print it out on a color paper....

No, the status does not say anything about BIO. They usually do not update the status for BIO or Fingerprints, as far as I understand.

Sorry Karina,one more Question
Was the BIO request letter was in a different envelope or with the same envelope as the RFI.

Thanks
