FYI: Today we got our AP's from Boston INS office.

We got our AP’s done today at Boston INS office. We were in front of the JFK building by 7 a.m. and were out of that building with our AP’s in hand by 10.30 a.m. The following documents were asked by the IIO:

1) Completed I-131 (AP) application form
2) 2 Green card style photographs
3) Copy of I-485 filing receipt
4) Copy of H1/H4
5) EAD (if any)
6) Money order(No personal check or cash or credit cards)
7) Passport

We didn’t apply for our AP’s when we filed our AOS applications on 11/30/01 at VSC.

That's what exactly I was looking for. Need AP to travel to India in December 2002, have filed for AOS in April, 2002. Gave FPs in June. After that no news from INS.

H1 expired, have EAD and need to travel.

Hi prospect,
Based on our attorney's advice, we had also carried our air-tickets and I-485 filing copies(supprting docs that you file along with your I-485 application). But the IIO never cared for these docs. Our attorney also suggested us to go for AP just 15 days prior to our travel date. Actually, we are flying abroad next week.
