Let's just pay attention to the total case trend:

Oct:34576 -> Nov:27874 -> Dec:31406 -> Jan:30875 -> Feb:33173 -> Mar:27174 -> Apr:32034 -> May:26559 -> Jun:36097

It's not too bad to see 32034 cases for April and 26559 cases for May where FY2005 cap's cases started to accept for adjudication, but 36097 for June is a big jump. Hope the July's filings would be cooling down.

i don't understand this..based on above,the H-1 cap should have been reached in mid June itself..assuming we have to add the totals of apr,may,june.. or am i missing something?
on the other hand,is there any report about the H-1 cap ?

all H1's do not count towrads cap, these stats include H1 extensions, transfers, non profit etc

Thats a very useful topic about the H1 cap...but, I still doubt about the new filings of h1-b visas. Can i wait till October and apply for my h1...because i need to go to India this month.
