Press Release:
The Backlog Reduction Center/Backlog Elimination Centers had unfortunately completed only 5 cases/year. The 100+ employee group said they were so much worried about the amount of work involved that they never had an oppurtunity to start the work. Currently there are about 500,000 cases remaining in each of the backlog centers.

Due to this, government have started a new center "Backlog Termination Center" and all the cases from Backlog Elimination Center will be moved to this new center. A employer will have 2 hours to reply whether they are interested in continuing the case. If no reply is received, the files will shredded immidiately. If the reply is received within 2 hours, the cases will henceforth continue to remain backlogged in this center, until a new press release is issued.

If you have any further questions, you can contact customer service at 1-800-WONTPICKUP or send your reply to:

Department of Labor,
Unemployment Office,
Room 112( Canteen),
Washington DC,
Bermuda. ( :) )
