Future GC got approved.

Finally Approved
Finally its came my time. I got approved on 21st Jan'04(Online Status). I went to Local INS on 22nd then Got IEAD on 23rd'04. But they didn't tell me anything. Fianlly this afternoon we checked EAD, AP and I -485 online Status then I was surprised.
then I checked my mail then I got Receipts also.

I am planning to go to local INS on monday for stamping. they did not given any date. then mention only times monday to friday , 7.15 am - 3 Pm


Time frame:
Service Center : VSC
EB2 : Masters, future employement GC.
I-140 :
ND : 07/13/02
Got Ref Aug 1st week then replied with in a week after a week its approved
AD : 08/2003

I-485/EAD
ND : 10/07/2002
EAD AD : Jan 28th'2003

EAD Renewal
RD : 09/27
ND : 10/01/03
Got IEAD : 23rd ' 04
AP: ????
EAD:????

I-485 AD : 01/21/04

Are you currently with the same employer, who originally sponsored for your future employment based GC ? If not, did you notify about AC21 portability to INS with your new or current employer Info? Did you get any RFE for your I485 bcas of AC21?

Pl share your exp in this forum for members like me !

I haven't worked sponsored emplyer. Still I am using My H1 B only but I used First my EAD last Dec 8th Onwards for small project (3 weeks).
I did not filled AC21 , not inform to INS also. I have not get any Refs for I -485.
But i got Ref for I-140 , they asked empyer Tax information, my W2 of 2002 and salary(LC was 80 K, but i got 55k in 2001)
then emplyer replied with in 2 days then I got approved after 8 days.

Can you please give further info' :
You mentioned you were drawing 55K(LC 80k)in 2001.
You had an RFE in Aug 02 by which time still you were on 55K
or 80K and even at the time of replying RFE.?

At the time of REF i was getting 60 k , this GC is future emplyment. I never worked that company.
REF got Aug 2003. they asked me 2002 w2

Congratulations and thanks for sharing the information. From this case it seems to me if one's I-140 approved, there should be no problem for I-485 approval as long as one has a company who is willing to be a sponsor.

I think Either I-140 Aprroved or If Employer reply and support all the documents for REF's then there is no problem.

Yours I believe is the second case along with Edison who has RD of 10/2002 and got approved couple of days ago?

If these both are isolated cases I still have a long time before I can look forward to my case which is 11/2002

Any thoughts.....anyone?

!-485 approved but ...

I have somewhat similar case but need some advise:

I got the I-485 approval notice recently but i had left the employer (not in good terms) after 2 months of filing of my I-485 and had joined other employers but did not persue with my GC processing with the second employer since I assumed that my earlier employer would have canceled the processing.
I did not use AC21 form to inform the INS of change of employers since I did not know that my GC processing is still on or not.

But later down the road i got my finger printing notice and I went and did that since I did not want to jeopardize the GC processing that was going on from my wifes employer. And now I have the approval notice for the GC processing from my first employer.

I do not know what to do with this approval notice? Any advice would be appreciated.

You know, I did not work my GC sponsor company. I am thinking to work after some time. I think there is no problem but once we go for Citzenship then they will open all the records. I don't want to take citzenship.
Anyway congrats, first go and get the Stamping then enjoy. then think what to do. first enjoy with opening bottle/s. cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeersssssssssssss
