Future employment

Sorry, if this thread is not in the right section.

I currently have H1 from Company A. But Company B wants me to sponsor for Green Card based on future employment.

I have the following questions:

a) Is applying for GC based on future employment any riskier than applying through the regular route? (where the company holding my H1 will sponsor my GC)

b) What is the latest time that I can join Company B? I want to join them after I receieve my GC, but would I be forced to join them after getting EAD?

c) Would I have any issues renewing my H1 with Company A while my GC is processing with Company B?

d) If i were to leave USA for a few years during any part of this GC processing, would the process still continue or do I have to start all over again?

----------that is OK

-----------------you can be working with A and B can file your LC or I-140. GC is for future job
b) What is the latest time that I can join Company B? I want to join them after I receieve my GC, but would I be forced to join them after getting EAD?
----------------- you can join B any time with H1 trasfer or on EAD, you will not be forced to join after getting EAD, EAD is not I-485 approval, you need to work for B after I-485 gets approved or any time before that.
c) Would I have any issues renewing my H1 with Company A while my GC is processing with Company B?
---------------- if you are eligible for H1 extensions then A can file H1 extensions (pending Gc through b is not problem)
d) If i were to leave USA for a few years during any part of this GC processing, would the process still continue or do I have to start all over again?
------------ you did not provide your full details like LC filing date by B
I-140 filing date or I-140 approval date
I-485 filed or not.
if you go out of US when I-485 is pending then USCIS sends you fingerprint notice, if you dont go for fingerprints in US I-485 will be rejected. if did fingerprint and I-485 is sent to local USCIS office for Interview and you dont attend Interview I-485 will be rejected. All depends on your circumstances. I can’t comment more as I don’t know your case details. Did you discuss the CP option with employer B or lawyer of B?

I will discuss CP with company B shortly. Do all GC applicants have to attend interviews? if not, what causes USCIS to ask for interviews?

Also, for future employment, I am concerned that this Company B doesnt actually have a bonafide job for me, and they just me to join their company for a job other than what they are promising me right now. Would such a scenario hurt me or would it only hurt this Company B if indeed they do not have a bonafide job and that's discovered in this GC proccess?
