Future employment

Hello,
This is my first time here.
Appreciate if anyone can kindly clarify.

I work for company B full time.
I used to work for company A earlier and they have filed for my LCA and will also file for my green card using future employment.
My labour is approved.
My previous employer is very understanding and will support what ever decisions I make.

1.At what stage should I start working for Company A?

2.Do I have to start working for Company A before I get my green card?

3.Can I just wait it out till I get my physical green card and then start working for Company A again.

4.Should I file I140 and I485 concurrently with the above situation of mine.

Thanks.

You can file I-140 & 485 concurrently. You have to start working with the company thats filing your I-140 when they are about to file it. (In your case, its A I believe). Essentialy what it means is that you have to work for A during your I-140 process and for at least 180 after your I 140 is approved if A has your labor approval and is the sponsorer of your I 140.

Disclaimer: I am not immigration law expert. Please do not take important decisions based on my opinion.

You can start working after your I-485 approval. I've seen such cases approved without any problem.

4.Should I file I140 and I485 concurrently with the above situation of mine.
Its better to file I-140 and I-485 together.

Thanks.

NO need to work

You need not work for the spnsoring company at all. Green Card is for a future job, wait till you get the GC, once you get the GC, you can work for any employer in the US, at least that's what the current law is, additionaly you can use AC21 once your I-140 and I-485 is pending for 6 months...
so there you go.. you need not work for the sponsoring company at all.
On the other hand, I have been working for the sponsoring company for last 3 and half years on H1 visa, and when my company wants to hire me permanently, they want Certified LC, prevaling wage and all kind of unnecessary crap. You know what, this is one stupid agency, who gives visas to terrorists after they have actually commited terrorist act in the country, and harraeses innocent, tax payers with it's full capacity, But then that's the law of the jungle any ways.
John A. is in real mess right now, due to AC21 and concurrent filing of I-140 and I-485, so take the advantage while you can.

All the best.
