Future Employment based GC : Question

Registered Users (C)
I have filed my GC ( 485) at CSC based on future employment with a company A.

I am right now working on H1 with another company and plan to start with another Company B. I still have not got my EAD.

When is the right time to join the Company A?

Can AC 21 be applied and assuming i dont hear anything in the first six months, can i join another company C with similar job, title and salary?

If i get an interview, should i be working with the future employer Company A at that time?

Any useful info would be appreciated.?

Any body with a similar experience during their GC, please post ur views.

Thanks,
Mitwaa

You can work with any one

You can work with any company:

But, similar job descriptions; salary can even be lesser.. doesn't matter

You need to work with sponsorer ATLEAST ONE DAY after the date of stamping, on the extension of job offer by them, at a salary equal or above the Labour Certification and on the same or richer job description... this is my understanding

You can work fro anybody u want

Hi Mitwaa,
The green card is for future employment, that means once u get ur greencard u have to work for that company, not till that point.

During that time u can work for any company u want. So u can start working for Company B.

You dont have to start working for Company A till u get ur greencard.

shd it not matter during the interview

If i am called for the interview or during an RFE if they ask for pay stubs or anything, is it safe to give the paystubs from my present employer with whom i am working on h1 and the title, description is different.

thanks,

Its perfectly ok to give paystubs from ur present employer

I dont think it creates any problem. As ur I485 itself is filed based on future employment, that menas u r not working for the sponsoring employer.

So its perfectly alright to give the pay stubs from ur current employer.
