Frustrating answer from USCIS

Hi Everyone,

I have filed my i485 on end of sept on 2006. After that USCIS sent the request for my medical and Invidence which they received on Nov 3rd of 2006. Ever since, I haven't seen any update in my case status.

I contacted USCIS over the phone and wrote to TSC so many times but they haven't provided any relevant answer yet. Only thing they keep telling is

"A review of our electronic records indicates that your I-485 application is currently pending clearance of security checks."

Some of the question that I asked has completely been ignored such as:

1. The processing time for i-485 based on asylum in Texas server center is June 2007 and my case is of Sept 2006, what does it mean?

2. I always asked them what exactly is security checks is it FBI Name checks? This question is ignored all the time

3. I asked them what about the recent policy change in FBI Name checks that USCIS will expedite the such case even without the clearance? This is always been ignored.

I found following excerpt in USCIS website about the recent change in FBI Name check policy, which looks relevant but I don't know why it is not being applied to me.

Q11. Should customers contact USCIS through the 1-800 customer service number or make an INFOPASS appointment to visit their local office if their case is outside of normal processing times and they believe their application meets the criteria of this new policy?

A11. For pending applications outside of normal processing times, we recommend that customers wait until March 10, 2008, before inquiring about cases affected by this policy modification. This will allow each office sufficient time to identify and adjudicate the relevant pending cases. If no action is taken by mid-March, we recommend inquiring with the USCIS customer service line at 1-800-375-5283. This procedure is for customers who have been previously informed that their case is pending due to the FBI name check. (Cases that are still pending within the processing times will be completed when the related adjudication actions are completed.)

Is there anyway, I can get some answer from USCIS or have them work on my case base on above excerpt? I called them, I wrote them but it didn't help at all. I will really really appreciate answer from any of you.

Thank you
