Hi folks this is a very unusual situation but I would like to know if somebody can help me.
My wife was sponsor by the hospital that she used to work in Mexico for 1 year for a research fellowship under a J1 visa and I was J2, at the middle of her fellowship the money from the hospital in Mexico was out (no govermental funds) and I got a medical residency position, we travelled to mexico and we switched now I am the J1 and she is J2. I am going to finish in 1 year and I am gonna apply for a waiver through "the Request by a designated State Department of Health"
My question is. Should we also apply through the non objection waiver option too, Of course because I am a physician I need to apply also for the "Request by a designated State Department of Health " but is it necessary to apply for both or just working in an underserved area will clean my wife and me?
thanks for your questions I am really desesperated
