Hi.

First of all.. thank you very much for all the info that you guys are providing in the forum.
I came to the US for a MBA and I have finished it in May 2008. I am now working for a company which has promised to sponsor me for H1B in 2009. My OPT expires in July 2009.
The company is under-staffed and I might be doing eveything by myslef.

I know the company has to fill the FORM I-129 (Petition for a NonImmigrant Worker) and FORM I-907 for the premium filing.
I have the following questions:
  • Is it a problem if my employer has never done this before?
  • When is my employer supposed to fill the applications?
  • Are these the only applications that my employer is supposed to fill?
  • Do I need to show my MBA diploma at any stage of the process?
  • Do I need to show any of diplomas taken in my country of origin?

Thank you very much for your help and assiatnce

No, but "understaffed could be an issue, as smaller companies tend to be more difficult to get H1 especially the economy is down.
  • When is my employer supposed to fill the applications?
    April 1 at the earliest.
  • Are these the only applications that my employer is supposed to fill?
Labor condition application must be filed.
  • Do I need to show my MBA diploma at any stage of the process?
    Doesn't hurt by showing it.
  • Do I need to show any of diplomas taken in my country of origin?
    Diploma from College.. Yes.

Thank you very much for your help and assiatnce
