from asylum to marrige

hello, everyone. I have question.please advice if you happen to know.

I have a recomended approval for my asylum application.I got married to american c.and want to adjust my status thru marriage.do i have to send something to my asylum office for closing my case, or do i have to just send forms for marriage and forget about asylum?I havent been referred to the judge or anything, i just want to adjust my status.My lawer says i just need to send marriage papers to Chicago and thats it. I just wanted to make sure.Thanks guys.
 
Since you haven't received your final approval for asylum, you really do not need to do anything with regards to it. Just apply for AOS based on your marriage and consider it independent of your asylum. Had you been an applicant for asylum based AOS, then your course of action would have been different.

Thanks a lot. Another thing is: I am trying to file the papers myself, can i send first i-130 and i-485 and work permit first, and the rest later or i should send the whole package? i heard the prices after the 30 of july are going to triple.Just curios if i can send the medical a little later?
