I got this mail for all 3 of us this morning

Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status
Current Status:
This case has been approved. On January 3, 2005, an approval notice was
mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice,
you may wish to verify or update your address.

I would like to thank and wish all my may 02 friends the same luck. I also would like to thank Pong and old gang that their dark days be over soon.take care guys

Did you ever change your address?, even if not,
call the 1800 # and give a change of address(From your very old
address to the current address). TSC never updates their address
any way, but this may trigger your FP.
 
conratulations- hurrah and huzah for you- I am getting excited now as people near my are getting approved- my RD is a week after you and Fp's a week after you- ohhhh can I hope and wish.....

George at least my struggle was not as bad as yours.

BTW any idea what is the next step?? Does the approval notice come on time?

One more 2002 Veteran, Congrats.

Get your appt on Infopass.gov for stamping.

Also, in many centers they have two doors, with appt and without appt.
We had an appt but I saw couple of folks who were having hard time with
infopass, decided to bring all the documents and just go there.

They were admitted later after all the appts were done but they got
stamped. Just an observation. If center is not too far, no harm trying.

GoTSC2002 is right.

After the stamping, hopefully your card does not show up with errors on it. My lawyer told me this is becoming more and more common these days, and the posts on this forum back that up also.

This is great! Congratulations!!!
The approval notice usually comes in 7-10 days. So go ahead to make the appointment through InfoPass now. You need to bring your Passport, I-94, two passport style photos, all EADs and APs. Some place also asks the Driver License.
