What better gift can one hope for on birthday!!
My husband and my Green cards are finally approved. Heard on AVM.
RD 08/30
ND 10/30
AD 08/16
We had applied for Consular Processing at the time of filing I-140. The I-140 was received back by VSC from New Delhi Consulate on July 31st. The lawyer found this out 1 week before approval. My husband(primary applicant)had also moved from his sposoring company.
Have been trying to post on the site but was having login problems. Old user name: khazana

khazana did you correspond or follow up with the embassy in delhi to send back the I 140 to VSC. How did your lawyer find it out that the files have come back. Did the lawyer talked with IIO or new delhi consulate. Can I have your lawyer contact info so that I may use his/her services similarly.

drgreen, we wrote an email to the ND consulate for the I140 to be sent back. Never received any reply. Never called them.
We, however tried calling VSC twice (last time 3 months ago) to ask them to request it back. It didn't work. About 2 weeks ago we asked our lawyer to follow up. The lawyer's office called VSC and spoke with IIO(i guess) and found out that they have received the I140.
