Whenever some one post his GC approval, a lotta responses come as .." Enjoy your freedom " .. My question is ..

Please Explain the FREEDOM .. once you get approval ??

Here's some

1) You are free from waiting for an approval
2) You are free to go for a stamping.
3) You are free of I-94.
4) You are free to go out of the country for a max of 6 months every year.
5) You are free from your current employer.
6) You are free to claim unemployment benefits from the government.
7) You are free to apply for citizenship after 5 years.

What did you think?

Very simple
One will realize that freedom when in problems ( like lost a job, really having issue with employer )

You do realize when every thing is OK

interesting

5) You are free from your current employer.

Explanation requested, as they say after GC approval, one MUST atleast stay with that employer for 6 months.

Please put some lantern on this one !!!

The 6 month limit is speculation. Basically come on I think you are splitting hairs here. You don't need a visa to live in the country. You don't need to look over your shoulder to see if you get laid off you'll effectively get kicked out of the country if you don't find another job ASAP.
