Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone working with Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP has got any approval for I140,

This is with regard to:

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Labor today announced that it has begun auditing all permanent labor certification applications filed by attorneys at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP. The department has information indicating that in at least some cases the firm improperly instructed clients who filed permanent labor certification applications to contact their attorney before hiring apparently qualified U.S. workers.

Many thanks

FDBL filed my application in 2004 (EB2, India). Just got current on Jun 1st. FDBL's audit is certainly not a good news to me. Dont know what will be the impact.

I did get my 140 approved.

My EB2 case filed through FDBL too and I-140 was approved some time early last year. Definitely, the news is not very good.

...wondering if anyone is aware of any backlog from the DOL because of this (btw, i think, im being processed in Atlanta).

I filed my Labor Cert on May and haven't heard anything yet (lawyer expected response date = July the 3rd), Its been a while and would like to know what's a good estimate of an average response time for a labor cert, and then because of the news above, if this is prone to change (most probably).

Don't worrry too much with FDBL.
My green card is filed through them and is approved on Aug 2, 2008

Thanks for writing.

Actually, i'm more worried about processing time; not entirely sure how long a labor cert takes to come back (lets hope: approved), and if so; I wonder if there's any delay from the FDBL audit.

Cheers,

umh, *bump*?

How long does a labor cert take to come back regularly from the Atlanta DOL Processing center? (and to this thread; would this timeframe be affected by the FDBL audit?)

Cheers,
