Frag*m*n Lawyer refuses to do FP notice enquiry

Guys,

My lawyer from Fragoman\'s does not want to FAX the
FP eqnuiry notice (my RD is 04/30).

They say that they receive regular communication from INS regarding
what FP date they are up to and my RD isn\'t after that date
so they can\'t FAX it in.

Have other people with Frag*m*n lawyers got them to FAX in
the FP enqiury notice?

I\'m based in Bay area (Santa Clara office). I wanted to chceck
to see if other people are in same boat.

at least ask ur lawyer to keep you updated on RDs for FP notice.
 I have seen ND of April 27 getting notices.

Um, they don\'t keep me updated.

I asked them to file a FP enquiry notice and they
told me no.

Just seeing if other Fragoman represented people
have got them to send FP enquiry notices.

I am with the same office and they basically told me the same thing. They won\'t fax or even call the CSC until some period has passed.

It\'s bizzare.

Initially they told me they can\'t predict when my FP
notice will come because it\'s not based on RD,
but location zip code, now they are saying they can\'t
contact CSC because my RD is not late enough.

This is a direct contradiction.

 I have had exact same experience with my lawyers.
 I am not allowed to name them, but they are also
 a big law firm.

 When I first asked them to send a fax in early
 Aug (after 120 days of nd), they said - "CSC
 is processing 98 cases, so relax !". I can
 expect that BS from INS, but not from my own
 lawyer. This after their lawyer suggested in March
 that I go for AOS instead of CP, because "its
 faster nowadays".

 After persisting, the lawyer said, ok.
 Then I called back after a week, and they said
 - we havent sent fax because your date is not
 current, call back after 4 weeks.
 
 I finally got the FP notice at the end of Aug,
 about a month after other people with my WAC
 had gotten it - and it was scheduled for Nov.
 Whether an earlier fax would have helped or not,
 I dont know - but I am sure frustrated by how
 they stall their own clients.

Bongo same lawyers ddn\'t ask to send an enquiry but guess they\'ll tell the same. Yeah, "they" do not generally agree for fax enquiry.
My RD Apr 11 and ND May 15 No FP yet Should I give it a shot with "them" Advice. Is my RD late enough Advice

Finally, with my layoff announced, I managed to convince
Fr*g*man to send the FP enquiry notice.

Cross your fingers and pray for me. I need a damn miracle !!!!
 
do the FP enquiry yourself...

don\'t know if this will help: i spoke to a helpful IIO sometime back and he told me to Fax a request with all my details and requesting them to schedule FP to 949-389-3484. Address it to Division 4, I-485 Section. I asked him if faxing on plain paper was OK and he said it was suficient. i got my FP in the mail on the same afternoon that i faxed, so the fax had no effect on my case. but, no harm in trying.
my attorney\'s enquiry only got a written response saying "your case is pending"! it does not mean anything!!!
