FP2 - how to find out status from FBI?

I did my FP2 in Aug 2004. My husband's FP2 was done on Sept 29th, 2004. The LUD for my case changed on Sept 20th but so far we haven't seen any change in the LUD for my husband's case. He is the primary applicant.

I have read that some of you inquired with the FBI about the fingerprints. Can one of you tell me how does one do this and if my understanding is correct that we can inquire with the FBI about the fingerprinting and name check. I think this is the last stumbling block for us and while my fingerprints have come back to the VSC from the FBI, my husband's case is still in a limbo.

Thanks for the ph numbers. What information will they ask for if I call them just so I am prepared? Also, do you think I need to call the number for the FP status or the name check status? Your response will be greatly appreciated.
 
They ask for Name and A# number. Make sure you specifically ask them which service center did they forwarded your FP results...

This number is ONLY for FP. You'll need to send an email or fax to get status on name check.
