Hi All,
After a long struggle I was able to give FP2 today at Oakland ASC. Our FP2 were scheduled for 05/16/07 but somehow we did not receive the notice. After calling IO through POJ method for several weeks, I was able to get hold of a nice lady IO. She sent me the expired FP notices and we went to OAK ASC the same day(today). Interestingly, I had a Biometrics scheduled for next day for my EAD. The FP technician/officer refused to allow me saying they are busy on Tuesdays and asked to come back tomorrow as I had a 8 AM appointment for my EAD. I pleaded him as I took so much trouble travelling to OAK. Finally he agreed to do it at 3 PM. We spent sometime shopping and went back at 3 PM. They took our FP and everything looks good.
By the way my initial PD was in 1999 and my 2 nd PD was in May 2001 but could not get labour even after 3 years and I left the company and applied with another(3rd) company. I did not stay with first company and the second company cheated me after working for 4 years. Then I had to apply through the 3 rd company. It has been a long struggle. Now I realise the importance of GC. Nobody advised when I was with my first company and they asked me to apply for GC. GC was not a big thing then, I guess. I could have been a Citizen by now.
My wife has LUD on I485 on 08/15, 08/16. mine on 07/28.
Hope they approve our 485s this month.
