FP without receiving letter

Hello Folks:

I recd. an email from my lawyer to confirm a FP appointment. However I haven't recd. an appointment letter.

Is it necessary to have an appointment letter for an FP appointment. Or do they have a list of people who are scheduled for an appointment.

Kindly share your experience in case of a similar scenario.

Ditto

I am also in the same boat. Kindly share your experience with this situation.

Thank you

common sense

If I were in you boat, I would ask my lawyer to send me a copy of the appt notice and take it with me. Better have something rather than nothing. Also in the notice they tell you which documents to take with you for the appointment. You need to have all the right info with you.

Copy of FP notice would work?

Attorney sent a copy of the FP notice. Woud the copy of the notice work? I heard that, USCIS asks for original FP notice so they can stamp the date and place of finger printing.

Thanks

Update

I have my biometrics/FP done today 10/22. No issues at all. I am one of those, did not receive the original FP notice but my attorney had received one.
With me I took the copy of the notice (attorney sent a copy) and driver’s license. Unlike I was told people are friendly. They did not ask for original FP notice.

If anyone received the FP notice directly to their mailing address, you do not have to confirm the appointment but make sure you show up!

Sorry about the delay. Here is an update:

A copy is sent to the lawyer. This needs to be carried with you in original, copy or fax will not help. We went through with lawyers copy and things went swimmingly!

Cheers.
