u r a lucky guy!! To me it looks like, urs got picked up for Pilot processing!
Dont be surprised if u straightaway get ur 485 approval.
Do this: Call the AVM number of NSC and dial 1,1,1,1,1,1 and then ur WAC number and tell us what you hear!

hi linuxrox,
pardon my ignorance, what's the number for AVM ?
Sure hope you are right :)

Okay, so got the phone # from my 485 receipt notice. The AVM says that the results of my FP were received on July 31st and further processing is resumed.

Do you know if this implies anything ?

My Theory: (cud be wrong, too)
Its like this. If yours is an EB2 concurrent, and the JIT dates are well beyond the receipt dates for ur EAD/AP and if your FP was done like lightninig, then there are all chances that they would just eat away the money on ur EAD/AP and approve ur 485 along with 140.
Now, the key is i hope they process ur 140.
Again, if you got ur EAD/AP in the limits of the JIT, then it may not be likely that it got picked up as a part of pilot.
So keep us posted, in any case.
Remember, THIS IS ALL MY UNSUBSTANTIATED THEORY!!
And INS does not folow any rules!!

Thanks for the explanation. The current EAD/AP processign dates are already beyond my RD.

Does any one have any experience in going ahead of the appointment date, as it is likely that I may have to change my location due to a new project (with the same consulting firm though).

we are planning on going for finger printing ahead of appointment. So please share ur experiences, if you have tried it at VAN NUYS office.
