FP Tracking for Marylanders

My Lawyer

said that VSC has some glitch in computer and that\'s why my FP has not been scheduled. They have to schedule it manually and this process may take long time, although as per INS " my file is in transit to place where they schedule FP manually".

FP done at Wheaton

Phew.... FP done atlast this morning at Wheaton, MD INS Office. It took less than 15 minuites for the whole process.

My MD is 9/21/01 and RD is 11/16/01

I am still waiting for my FP. Guys, please post if anyone has received FP notice around this date from MAryland.

Finally.....after long long wait

FP Notice: 03/19/02
FP Notice received by me: 03/29/02 (My lawyer sent me this FP notice, I did not receive my copy from INS.)
FP Scheduled on : 04/16/02 at Baltimore INS.
AVM: Same old message, we have received.......
Took 8 months after filing. And the funny thing, I called INS on 03/28/02 and the IIO said that its not yet scheduled, it may take couple of months to be scheduled.
 
Some say both lawyer and applicant

Some peomple say lawyer gets primary copy
and applicant the courtest copy.
Looks like they sent only to lawyer. At least they do that!
