FP-Rescheduling

I just recieved a FP notice in san Antonio ,but the letter came in late
and it was scheduled for yesterday. My question is

1. Can I go to the local service center on a saterday to get it done?walkin in

2. I know you have to get your FP done now, but how much time period do
they give you before they abandon your application, with in 30 days.

Do it right away. Do not Delay. If you go within the next 2-3 days you will be fine.
 
I also missed my appointment but did a "walk-in" and it went just fine. Take your Green Card, driving licence and the original of the finger-printing appointment letter (even tho' you missed it).
