FP Rescheduling - Any experience

I received my second FP notice today (first was May 2003). The appointment is for 9/16. Unfortunately, I am going to be out of town. I do have the option of rescheduling but was wondering how much delay this will cause. I am trying to determine if I should cancel my out of town (business trip) or just reschedule for a Saturday.

Does anyone have any experience? Will my appt move to Dec. or something?

Quite a few people have gone early and had their FP done (some though have been told to come back on the specified date). Maybe you could try doing that instead of rescheduling?

Otherwise, as far as I know rescheduling isn't a problem (as I'm sure you know, there are instructions on how to do this on the notice) and it sounds like they will try to accomodate any requests if possible.
