FP query

I received my FP notice for my EB1-OR concurrent petition filed last month. I am supposed to take the notice plus a photo Id. Is it necessary to take passport and current documents or just drivers license ? ALso, how long does it usually take - waiting time,etc.

I took the notice and my driver's license (CA). They never asked for my passport. The wait was about 7 hours for me and some people were sent home without their FP in the evening (this was Santa Ana, CA).

I took my son to Charlotte, NC, on 1/2/08. The appointment was at 9:00am. We went in at 8:40am, and came out five minutes later! It was too soon, even we couldn't believe it! We later made the conclusion that 1/2/08 was the first working day in the new year and maybe we arrived there before the others (the appointment was early). We didn't hear any unpleasant experience from our friends (to the same center) either, less than an hour?
I guess it really depends on the center, whether there are many people that need the service.
