Each service center has its own time-table for finger-printing. I have some friends whose 485 has been pending in TSC for more than 15 months and they haven't yet received any FP notice. What they say is that they in TSC people normally receive the FP notice when their 485 processing is pretty close to completion.

Check out Carl Shusterman's web site in a Google search. He has a case status button in which you can enter your 485 receipt number and get an update on your case status. THIS IS A VERY POORLY RUN DATA BASE AND DOES NOT ALWAYS GIVE YOU UP TO DATE CASE STATUS BUT IT'S BETTER THAN NOTHING.
