FP notices in october? I Got a 2nd FP notice before the first expired.

Hi,

I got an 2nd FP Notice for me an my wife yesterday. It was dated Oct 16. I thought FP was valid for 15 months. Our FP Was done Sept 03, 2002, its not yet expired.

But I still got a letter saying that it has expired. Looks like they are pre-empting that by the time the cases come up for adjudication the FPs would have expired. This is good news since they are being proactive.

I also had an update on my online status saying that an RFE was sent on Oct 21. I was surprised when I got the notice yesterday, thinking it to be the RFE till I opened it and found it to be the FP.

Hope the RFE comes soon! I'm waiting to respond to it and get done with this process.

Any other second FP notices received this month? Please add to this thread.

Also, I need to get the FP done at BCIS in San Jose, can I get it done sooner or at any other FP center in SJ (or is there only one?).

RD: Never got a receipt. Use the cashed checks as proof of 485 application.
 
Not too lucky - as November 2001 cases should have been long gone. But then none of us seem to be too lucky do we ?
 
You can go to SJ to make fingerprint anytime as long as you get the notice of fingerprint. They have holiday on Monday and Sunday. They open at 8:00am. There are less people in the morning, I think.
