FP Notice twice

My wife recieved a third FP notice for our pending I-485 swithin six weeks of the 2nd FP notice. Is it a NSC mistake?

Our RD is july 2002. Our first FP was sept 2002. We recieved our 2nd FP notice for april 10, 2004. Both our notices were sent to my lawyer in michigan. I recieved a copy of mine to our home address in California. However, we did not recieve my wife's notice to our home address. Before we went for the 2nd FP, my wife recieved a third notice this time to our home address for a scheduled FP in May 2004.

We both went for our 2nd FP recently and we were contemplating if we should go for her 3rd FP?

Any comments?
 
Is the third FP notice generated by service center? Does the printed paper look like any other reciept notice generated by the service center?? Sometimes if the FP were not clear and did not go through for clarity purpose..., FBI generates the notice, this notice does not look like the one generated by service centers and also a copy of such notice is not sent to the attorney, most probably because FBI may not have your attorney information.
Best way to clarify is call FBI number give them your A# and find out the date of latest update...
 
Duplicate FP notice

Both the notices from NSC look alike from but for the dates. They are few weeks apart. We recieved the second one before the first one was attended for FP. So it unlikely a second notice from FBI for lack of clear prints.

We had a change of address, could be a goof up on NSC part.

Actually they send to all your recent addresses i think. i know of a similar situation that they sent the FP notice to all known address of the recent past. this seems to be standard practice but as far as i am aware all the notices said the same date. so yours is a different issue i think.
 
For whatever it is worth go for the third FP if it is convenient. After all that we have gone through this is a minor irritation. At worst you would have made a useless trip.
