FP notice. Need info!!!

NSC EB2 India. RD 09/2001 ND 10/2001.
I was reading posts wher people are receiving FP noties for the same time frame as mine. I am visiting India for the Month of Jan. If I receive my FP notice in this time peirod and am not able to attend the FP appointment, is there a way I can reschedule? Does it affect my 485 application?

Any opinions will be welcome.

you can skip that date

and postpone it to another day at your convinence! Read sheela murthy old chat transcripts and questionnaire to get the correct procedure to do that

ND: 10/12/2001
FP Notice: 11/27/2001
FP Schedule: 12/27/2001

It\'s says on the FP Notice that you can reschedule it. It also reads that rescheduling it can delay your application. INS sets the new schedule and who knows how long it\'s gonna be \'til next notice.
