FP Notice and Question: NYC

I applied N-400 in NYC (Vermont SC) on Mar 6 and received a receipt a couple of days back saying that the priority date is Mar 10. Yesterday I received FP notice for Apr 1st. I wonder if this is fast or is it normal. Given what I have seen from other posts,should I expect my IL soon? When can I expect IL?
 
I wouldn't expect an IL any time soon. They are just getting to late-July/August 2007 applicants, so give it a few months until you get your IL. As you can see from my timeline, I'm still waiting, and I applied at the tail end of August. There is also at least one late-July filer (Vik Pal) who is still waiting for an IL. As far as FPs go, what support center are you scheduled for?

Usually FP apptt is the first step and that happens pretty fast, usually within a month from the time you receive your NOA in the mail. It's good that you're in the system and so far things are moving the way they are suppose to. As far as IL goes, you can expect from 3 months after FP to forever. Name check, missing/dual A files and other scenarios could always delay the IL process. Nobody can predict that, but you can always pray & hope for the best. Good luck.
 
Compared to when I got my FP notice and got my FP taken, I would say this is fast. Check my timeline for info
 
My whole family applied on 29th Feb and we got Fingerprints appointment on 10th of march( in ten days).Hope for the best and hold your horses.Give them approximatly 7-10 months (atleast).
