Can anybody tell me what this message is . I have this message from last two months and i dont know what it means. My case is from csc and i filed my 1-485 on May-17-04. I-140 was filed on Dec-22-04. No approval yet on any case.

On August 26, 2004, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review.

In the case of my wife, it meant that they took FP's and they were unreadable, so they couldn't review them

You can call FBI and ask

Hey Jharkhandi !

So, you know the drill ha ? I am El Guapo de Las Pampas on the streets, and El Encargado de La Cocina at home :D

Yep, still waiting, 4 weeks after Fp2, almost two after I started Case Inquiry with Customer Care, and after ... 3 LUD Changes in three consecutive dates (Thurs, Fri, and today), see my other post here in the FP forum and please gimme some insight if any ;)

How about your case ? Are you off the hook ? You'd be nice enough to stick around and help others anyways :cool:

I want to visit this forum as a veteran. But USCIS is not allowing me to do so. I am still waiting for an angel who could open my file and bail me out.

I am sure you will get your approval by Deepawali (that is Indian festival of lights and signifies defeat of evil) on Nov 12, 2004 or Eid al-Fitr on Nov 14-15. If you do not celebrate any - visit us - we enjoy both. (I do not know much about Eid al-Fitr though - so don't ask me what all it involves. I enjoy the dishes that is all.).

Hey, thanks for the forecast Jharkhandi :) In fact, in the 485 Tracker for EB1 OR I maintain a tracker for the time lag between FP2 and approval, and so far the estimate is 6 +/- 2 weeks. For my case, this would fit in your forecast ;)

Festivities: I might as well join you ! Where are the festivals held ?

Hey, where are your case details ? I am curious. Did you start case inquiry ? USCIS processing time advanced a lot these days. Hope you are out soon ! (Geesh, we talk like prisioners, it is sad to be put in this situation ... I always mention it to people looking forward to come to work in the US)

One more thing, with the Indian economy growing so strong we might as weel all end up in India :D

"Pending for Review" means that your fingerprints have not been cleared by FB, or INS needs more time to clarify your fingerprints. I think you have to call FBI to check the result of your fingerprints.
 
I have the same message in my case status today. I finished my finger printing on april 7th 2004.

I485 RD-Oct 13th 2003

Could someone please give the FBI phone number and fax number to call and check the status
